1840's vintage Chauncey Boardman Ogee table/mantle clock. Woodworks 30 hour weight driven time and strike movement. All original lands, wood dial, and beautiful reverse glass painting of a bucolic country scene. Only a few minor paint chips in the upper right quadrant of the painting and along lower edge. Mahogany veneer is in excellent condition with a few minor chips. Inside paper label is ~80% complete and easily readable. Truly an unmolested, original, handsome clock. Dimensions of this clock are 25.5" tall, 15" wide, and 4.5" deep with a 7.5" painted and gilt dial. Overall, for it's age, this clock is in very good condition.
